How do I turn off HEIC on my iPhone 14/13/12/11/SE?
Option to set up photo formats when taking pictures and transferring to computer.
HEIC stands for high-efficiency image format. It is a special photo format originally introduced by Apple to make use of an advanced array of compression method making photos in fewer sizes without reducing quality.
1. Unlock your iPhone and launch “Settings” app on your device
2. Tap “Camera” option.
3. Under Camera page, tap “Formats” option to set up photo formats when taking pictures and transferring to computer.
4. To enable HEIC image format, simply tap to switch on “High Efficiency” from “Most Compatible” option under CAMERA CAPTURE section.
